We are pleased to announce that One Jazz are partners with Winter Jazzfest in New York City in January 2025 which runs from 9th – 15th January at various venues across Brooklyn and Manhattan. Winter Jazzfest is celebrated as one of the most exciting and dynamic international music festivals in the world, showcasing top U.S. musicians alongside international talent.
Chris Philips and Jez Nelson will broadcast live shows at 5 – 7pm UK time (midday – 2pm ET) on the first four days of the festival from 9th – 12th January. Live from the centre of one of the jazz world’s premier contemporary events they will feature special guest artists and share reviews of some of Winter Jazzfest’s standout performances.

– Makaya McCraven, Artist-in-Residence, performing in diverse settings, including a celebration of the 10th anniversary of his 2015 album “In the Moment.”
– An opening night concert featuring poet Aja Monet and her band at LPR, alongside performances by Fay Victor and Sophye Soliveau.
– A concert commemorating 60 years of “A Love Supreme” with Ravi Coltrane, followed by an improvised round-robin performance inspired by the album.
– A celebration of Strata-East Records at The Town Hall, featuring jazz legends and special guests.
– A variety of festival venues, including The Town Hall, Le Poisson Rouge, Roulette, Brooklyn Bowl, Mercury Lounge, City Winery, Performance Space New York, Public Records, Music Hall of Williamsburg, Nublu, and others.

– 10th January – Manhattan Marathon
– 11th January – Brooklyn Marathon
These events will offer a multi-artist, multi-venue experience across nine venues each night.
