London trumpeter Jay Phelps revives his sell-out show revisiting one of the greatest classics in jazz history – Miles Davis’ Kind Of Blue. It doesn’t matter how often you hear this 1959 masterpiece, it never grows tired and always seems timeless. To hear the album played live, in its entirety by a select collection of top UK jazz musicians under the leadership of Jay Phelps is a rare treat. Jay has already sold out the Jazz Café three times with this project so this seated show at 229 will soon go the same way.
