Internationally acclaimed pianist, composer, and improviser Alexander Hawkins is bringing his own series Break a Vase to One Jazz.
Break A Vase began in 2023 as the efforts of a busy touring musician to reconnect with his physical music collection at home. In each episode, Hawkins explores his shelves freely, creating a genre-defying journey through jazz, improvised music, classical pieces, traditional tunes, pop songs from different times and places, and much more.
