Originally from South London Tony has clocked up four decades as a broadcaster, writer, curator and dj. He started his musical journey as part to the London jazz dance scene and from there went on to establish a home for the soul jazz scene in the UK Midlands.
His DJ journey has included London’s Jazz Cafe, Atlanta’s Cafe Ying-Yang, and Ibiza’s Cafe Del Mar.
He was a writer for the ground breaking ‘Straight No Chaser Magazine’, currently writes for the trailblazing magazine ‘Detail’ and has released a couple of music compilations covering Jazz, Brazilian and Lo-Fi classics.
He is passionate about music and throughout his career has never lost sight of his core aim which is to help new artists where possible and to use his platform to ultimately inspire, educate and entertain.
As well as pioneering on Virgin Radio’s first DAB station he has experience on WCLK Atlanta and now currently hosts a programme on Jazz FM.
