Paul Bradshaw has been a music journalist since the mid Seventies. He contributed to the NME and various publications worldwide. After launching the jazz based, club oriented, ‘designer fanzine’ Straight No Chaser in 1988 he built a global network of musicians, DJs, writers, photographers and Illustrators. He has curated international music projects and exhibitions and hosted a monthly radio show on Worldwide FM.
As an editor he worked on the Mo’ Wax book Urban Archaeology and Gilles Peterson’s 600 page hardback Lockdown FM: Broadcasting In A Pandemic. In 2024 he edited Beyond The Bassline: 500 Years of British Black Music – which was published to coincide with the British Library Exhibition of the same name.
