DJ Lubi (Lubi Jovanovic) has been a leading light in the UK Latin music/salsa scene since the early 1980s and is still here today. He’s worked at every level and job in the scene – musician, live music promoter, radio DJ, festival curator, tour organiser, club DJ, music journalist (Straight No Chaser Magazine “Latin Lowdown”) and compilation album curator (including releases for Fania Records). It’s great to have him onboard playing the full spectrum of his favourite Latin American music past and present, from mambo to salsa, Latin jazz to Afro-Cuban music.
